The development of Dairy Drop began with extensive research and brainstorming, leading to initial sketches that captured the app’s core functionalities. These sketches evolved into detailed wireframes and prototypes after rounds of experimentation to balance usability and aesthetics.
The project required iterative design cycles, incorporating feedback from usability testing and suggestions to refine key features like the live chat. Several revisions were made to enhance accessibility, streamline navigation, and ensure a welcoming user experience.
The final design reflects a cohesive, user-focused solution that meets the needs of a diverse, global audience living dairy-free.
END RESULT
Dairy Drop is a project that I feel deeply connected to. Living dairy-free, I regularly face the constant challenges that come with it, whether it’s finding suitable and affordable options or feeling limited in everyday situations. This project gave me the opportunity to design from personal experience, which made the process more intentional and meaningful. I wanted to create something that not only solves a problem, but also helps others feel understood and supported. It’s a project that reflects both my growth as a designer and my own lived experience.
