As a placement student at Gadar Promotions, I had the opportunity to redesign the webstore landing page with the support and trust of the team. I focused on creating a clear and approachable experience that improves navigation and helps customers move through the site more easily, ultimately supporting more sales.
Further updates have been made to the landing page by fellow coworkers since the initial launch. **

For this project, I worked closely with the Gadar Promotions team, checking in regularly and gathering feedback to really understand what they wanted and what their customers needed. I started by looking at the existing landing page, spotting areas that could be simpler or clearer, and brainstorming ways to make navigation easier and products more visible.
From there, I explored different layouts and design directions, refining each one based on feedback. The process was collaborative and hands-on, and I loved being able to balance creativity with practical solutions that help both the business and the people using the site.
END RESULT
Looking back, this project was such an important experience for me. It taught me how valuable it is to show up, trust my abilities, and have confidence in my work. Since then, I’ve been able to grow with Gadar Promotions and now work full-time as a graphic designer and gained valuable experience as a customer service representative. Being part of both sides of the business has been incredibly rewarding, it’s given me perspective on how design and customer experience work together, and it’s reinforced that applying your skills, stepping up, and trusting yourself can really open doors.
